Virtual Fourth R Instructor Led Training

Virtual Fourth R combines the benefits of both customised instructor led and classroom based training with the convenience of a virtual learning environment. Virtual Fourth R allows people to learn in real time so it’s both interactive and participative. The key difference is that participants and trainer are not in the same physical location.

The benefits to you:

  • Live interaction with experienced and qualified instructors

  • Dedicated online environment enables interactive exercises so delegates learn by doing

  • Participation from the comfort of your own home or office

  • Platform independent - delivery on PC and Mac – just need internet access

  • Elimination of travel costs, accommodation and business downtime

  • Free "After Support"

  • Additional discounts

How does it work?

Typically sessions involve participants logging on to a Fourth R computer where the trainer is able to interact with them directly. The required visuals are viewed by both parties for the session. A physical manual is provide to the client prior to establishing a session. There will also be an audio facility provided by a separate audio bridge such as a telephone conference facility.

Windows 10 (Part 4)

This month we take a look at another three tips and tricks that you can use with Windows 10.

Tip 1 - Customise the Start Menu

The new Start Menu is such a huge improvement over what we had with Windows 8.1. It combines the best elements of Windows 7 and Windows 8 with full customisation. You can resize tiles in the Start menu by right clicking them and choosing Resize, and then selecting a size from the pop-up menu. You can also unpin them or uninstall them completely.

Tip 2 - Command prompt tweaks

A lot of Windows 10 utilities still look the same as they did in Windows 7 and Windows 8. One of the hidden tweaks is in the Command Prompt. Select Properties and you’ll suddenly find you can enable a host of customizations, including a transparent background, resizing the window, and word wrap.

Tip 3 - Battery saver

If you’re on a laptop and your battery is running low, Windows 10 is smart enough to begin throttling back background services and other threads so that you can squeeze the last bit of battery life out of your machine. To enable Battery Saver, click the Start menu, and head to Settings | System | Battery Saver.
